I am an OB Nurse for the last 2 years, working in a very small unit in South Georgia. I really enjoy being an OB Nurse. I feel for a moment in time I am able to care for a mother and baby with love, compassion, and knowledge. I changed from an ER Nurse to an OB Nurse shortly after my Daughter was born 2 ½ years ago. Needing a change due to burn out so of my four years as a nurse 2 in the ER and 2 as an OB Nurse. Now that she approaching 3 we are contemplating number 2, if I could just get my body right. When we trying the first time, I took clomid, we tried for four years before we got pregnant with our little girl. Now that I am thinking about our second I am taking Metformin, but can hardly stand the side effects. I am a second generation nurse; my mother is a
Geriatric Nurse, which is her blog where she discusses issues that arise in geriatric nursing. I write OB Nurse to explore all issues surrounding reproductive health, issues, and infant care. I share photos that I have taken in
Kim’s Scrapbook.
